We have developed two custom themes for the Domoticz home automation platform, available in both Light and Dark versions.
Our goal was to create a simple, clear, and practical user interface that can display numerous devices and measurement values in a consistent layout, without unnecessary graphical elements.
The Machinon theme also served as a source of inspiration during development. However, we followed our own design approach, with more angular shapes and a simpler, more understated visual style.
Both versions provide the same functionality. The main difference is their color scheme and overall appearance.
A light background, clearly separated device tiles, and colorful status indicators.
A dark background, high-contrast device panels, and the same layout as the Light version.
Both themes can be used with a standard Domoticz installation. In this mode, the original Domoticz logo is displayed. When used with Szélessáv SmartHome firmware, the themes display our own branding and an additional website menu.
The themes have been developed and tested with Domoticz 2025.2. Compatibility with other versions has not been fully verified.
Both themes are available free of charge, with publicly accessible source code. Downloads, installation instructions, updates, and issue reporting are available on GitHub.
